Many of the Celtic supporters in Lisbon for the 1967 European Cup Final sent postcards home. The cards carried the score, the noise, the heat. They also carried this stamp.
The design is taken from the Portuguese postage stamp of the era, in the green-and-cream palette that supporters who made the trip would have stuck onto a hundred postcards over those days in May.
A small thing, kept in family albums, in shoeboxes at the back of wardrobes. Now wearable.
