Patrick "Paddy" McCourt arrived at Celtic from Derry City in 2008, with a reputation as one of the most gifted players Irish football had produced in a generation. He spent six years at Celtic Park, and started maybe two dozen league matches.
What he did in those games was remarkable. He could carry the ball through three challenges without breaking stride. He could make defenders fall over with a single shoulder-drop. He scored goals that would have been highlight-reel material at Camp Nou, never mind Pittodrie.
He never quite made the consistent contribution that a player of his talent should have. But for ten minutes at a time, on his day, Paddy McCourt was the most watchable footballer in Scottish football.
The design is a tribute to the Derry Pele.
